Stars turn to Twitter to mourn Hollywood starlet
Celebrities have turned to social networking site Twitter today, to mourn the death of Hollywood’s “sunshine” Brittany Murphy after the star suddenly passed away yesterday morning.
Murphy’s former boyfriend and co-star, Ashton Kutcher, used Twitter to express his condolences after the 32-year-old actress died of a heart attack at her home in Los Angeles in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He wrote, “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.”
He then followed this with his final tweet of condolence,
“see you on the other side kid.”
Kutcher wasn’t alone in turning to Twitter this morning to share messages of condolences to Murphy’s family; other stars such as co-star Alicia Silverstone, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Peaches Geldof all posted messages in remembrance.
